Dr. Selena Ramkeesoon Designs Digital and Social Media Module for MBA Program

DualStar LLC’s Dr. Selena Ramkeesoon, designed a digital media and social media module for the advanced MBA course, “Innovation Through Marketing and Technology,” at the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Digital media and social media are essential marketing communication channels. The trend toward visual social media has been mainly driven by the omnipresence of smartphones, as well as the enhancements in mobile internet services. The module encourages students to research and discuss the role digital media and social media play in an organization's branding strategy.

Dr. Ramkeesoon is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the MBA Program at the University of Maryland Global Campus Business School, accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). She is also Adjunct Faculty with the American University Kogod School of Business.
